In the event you are entitled to a Payout, we will contact you using the information you provided at the onset of the Contract.  We'll then initiate our secure process to gather the required bank account details from you in order to facilitate an ACH transfer of funds. *If I am owed a Payout, how will you obtain my bank account information for transfer of funds?

Yes, you can. If you're the initial Contract Holder, you have the ability to transfer the Contract to any new owner of the Property.  However, you must notify REZITRADE in writing within thirty (30) calendar days of the Property changing hands.  Please note that a Contract can only be transferred once during its Term.

*Can I transfer my Home Price Protection Contract to the new owner of the Property?

Yes, there is an option for cancellation.  You can choose to cancel your Contract within five (5) business days of the Effective Date.  To do so, you must send a written termination notice to REZITRADE within this timeframe.  Upon successful cancellation within the specified period, you'll receive a full refund of the Contract Price.  However, once this five-business-day period has passed, please note that the Contract Price becomes non-refundable.

By purchasing Home Price Protection, you're entering into a real-estate option contract.  The Contract gives you the right to receive a cash payout from REZITRADE if the Ending Indicative Property Value on the Expiration Date falls below the agreed upon Property Value Trigger.  To be eligible for this Payout, you need to be the owner of the Property in the specified Market as per the terms of the Contract.

Home Price Protection doesn't fluctuate in value.  Its worth is established by the possibility of a future cash distribution, capped at the Maximum Payout you selected at purchase.  The purpose of Home Price Protection is to offer a mechanism of protection against declines in the residential real estate market.  If, at the Expiration Date, the Ending Indicative Property Value falls below the Property Value Trigger, you are entitled to a Payout.

It's simple.  We track housing prices in your Market.  If home prices in your market decline below the a certain threshold, set at the time of your purchase, you receive a Payout.  A Payout is designed to offset the potential decline in value of your home.  You don’t have to file a claim or sell your home in order to receive a cash distribution.  Once you receive a Payout that money is yours.  There are no clawbacks should home prices in your market rise in the future.
